Letná is a world unto itself. Even in the past, the area was known as the Montmartre of Prague. Many of its building’s attics were artist studios and sculpture workshops could be found in its courtyards.
This relaxed, bohemian atmosphere and vibrant community life has lasted to this day, which is one of the reasons Letná continues to be one of the most desirable addresses in the city.
The area right around the building is full of amazing restaurants, cafes with premium coffee, bistros, and bars. Letná’s main streets are lined with traditional stores as well as designer shops and boutiques.
For quiet moments of relaxation, Letenské Sady Park or Stromovka are just a short walk away. Just as close are the National Technical Museum, the National Museum of Agriculture, and the National Gallery, important cultural institutions open to the public.
Supermarkets and the Stromovka shopping center can equally be reached on foot.
The location guarantees easy access by public transport. A tram stop is only a two-minute walk from the building. To get to the Hradčanská and Vltavská metro stations or to the future express train stop to the airport on foot they’re 15 minutes away if you walk quickly, or hop on a tram, which shortens your commute to just five minutes.
